Far more common in other parts of the world, Mitsubishi SUV's are know to be capable, durable, long lasting vehicles. Owner reviews of the Montero here in the US are positive praising reliability, longevity, off road ability, interior space and equipment level, with the most common complaint being that Mitsubishi stopped importing them. The Montero certainly has a lot to like - interesting styling, good visibility, loads of standard features, independent suspension, 23.7 gallon fuel tank, seating for 7, and a flexible drivetrain with 2WD/4WD and AWD plus so much more.
